Yeah that was a very nice way to turn a bad incident into something good.

I was listening to ESPN radio in NY and one of the morning shows was talking about this and if the girl really wanted the homer she should have crawled for to each bag. I was shocked by this response but it was all in joking. Then I was thinking what I would have done and it the home run really mattered to me I would have tried to pull myself towards the bag. I am not saying that I would have made it all the way around the bases but I don’t think I would have just laid there. All in all it is better that she did stay put because it did not cause any further injury and created a great story in sportsmanship.

But I just want to know what you all would have done in the same situation would you try to crawl to the next base or just sit here?

Great story, but most decent people would have acted the same way. Only comparison I can draw is that I tore my ACL playing raquetball, I don't think I could have dragged myself around three bases.

Not trying to throw a terd in the punchbowl....., very good story, refreshing....

It is a great story. They are a class group for doing it. I would like to think I would have done the same thing, but you never know in the heat of competition.

As one fellow said in the spot, " To step in and do the right thing at the right time....," is something every parent prays his children learn and appreciate.

One cannot help admire and be moved by the sacrifice and compassion of the opposing team. But this story also gives hope to those of us who, by virtue of years and experience, have become somewhat skeptical of one's fellow man's motives.

I would also add that while we hope our own children might step up to the plate and do the right thing at the right time, like Jeepthrills said, I would aspire to do likewise.

So very admirable.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
