I still have the first ball I broke 80 with (I shot a 76). It was a Titleist Tour Prestige 90. I also still have the scorecard. I'm debating to do mini trophy/plaque of it. Does this sound like a good idea..? or just a waste of time/money?

It's not a waste of time and money if you'll appreciate it. Only if you ignore it is it a waste.

Not a bad thing...is it funny that i still have a sleeve of Tour Prestige and I just played one this weekend? I found a sleeve in the car.

Nope...I've saved both my hole-in-one balls and plan on some sort of 'wall of honor' for these...

I wish I would have kept some other balls like you have done. I say the more the merrier!

Fairways and Greens.

I have about 300 logo balls, but I really haven't put a ton of effort into it lately... I really don't have any special golf balls... I haven't broken par, I improved so quickly I really never even thought of breaking 80 as a milestone worth celebrating... that sort of stuff. No holes in one, no double eagles. Heck, I can't even think of whether I've had an eagle or not. No, wait, I eagled 18 earlier this year... Didn't think much of it at the time as eagles shouldn't be so rare.

We have those made for members at my course all the time. Eagles, hole in ones, career rounds, etc... Actually, supplying a plaque is part of the hole in one insurance we provide at the course. They can turn out pretty cool.

I save "milestone" balls. I have of course my ace ball. I also have the ball I won my first tournament with and my first round in the 60's. I date them and put a note on them. Then they live in my ball rack on the wall.

I was thinking about it after my first Hole-In-One... but a scorecard read :
6 - 6 - 7 - 1 - 6 - 6 - 4 - 4 - 5 on a front nine somehow didn't look like worth framing

I just won my first tournament this summer, and i saved the ball that i played the round with, the markings are kinda worn but i think that makes it more real. I didn't even think bout the scorecard till the assistant pro gave it too me a few days later.
