I have to say having a membership at and course helps as you can have the option of a range pass, which in the end you save tons of money, depending on your devotion to the range. For me it was the right choice.

Usually about $3 for small (25), $6 for medium (60), $8 for large (100)

Worst I ever had to pay was about $8 for 25 of the *crappiest" balls at this little "golf center" in Mt. Pleasant MI. I could have gone to Walmart and bought a bag o' shags and hit them into my FIL's field for cheaper.

Silver Dollar Golf Course, Odessa, FL

$35 for a range card of 90 balls per bucket, 11 buckets per card/

In season its $45

Great range, hitting off tee box type grass!

Older person community, range doesn't get much use unless they have a big shotgun-skeet tournament, the range has stations on it and you get some clay from the pigeons in the grooves, little harder to clean off.

All three of the ranges I go to seem to have about the same prices...$4 for a small (35 balls?)...$7/$8 for a medium (75 balls?) and $10 for a large (100 balls)...and one of the ranges has a jumbo (150 balls) for $12. I used to be that $10 or $12 dude, but the last couple of months I haven't been hitting balls at the range much and when I do I've been hitting a medium bucket.

I started playing this season about a month ago and I have almost eclipsed $200 so far...

Really? It still takes me like 45 minutes to hit a medium...used to take over an hour with a large bucket. You should try not pouring all your balls into the little 'trough' or on the ground beside you. Instead just leave the bucket a few steps behind you so you have to go back and grab a ball after each shot...line up to your target...posture up and swing, repeat. Has helped me not just machine gun through buckets of balls, and actually made the few times I've been the range lately way more productive.

$10 for 100 balls at Stanford. It's on mats too.

The range is included in the club membership. So I can hit all I want. I know a few guys that will stay out on the range all day. We have a nice range, hitting off zoyzia, same as the fairways. The practice bunkers could be alittle better though.
