What a coincidence. i was just thinkin about this today. for the money id put in a range i figure i need it 8 acres by 4acres, with accurate yardages. Awesome

I most certainly would. I'd build a 205 yard, downhill, Par 3. And a 440 yard straight Par 4. And a 580 yard dogleg left Par 5.

I don't have the money for a fancy course but I do have enough land for a 300+ yard range.

I set up a 50' diameter area at 160 yards from the tee that I keep mowed as a 'green' to practice approach shots with my 6/7 irons.

The problem is ball retrieval, very tedious even with a shag bag.
