How can you not root for the Rock? When asked about the British Open today, he said that it was fun but nothing could compare with what he experienced at the US Open. That was the time of his life he said.

If Rocco keeps rolling the rock like today he will be there. It would be fantastic to see him come back from Torrey Pines disappointment to win a major here, that would be some kind of justice.

Also wonder how did David Duval shoot a 73 . . . and Norman a 70, golf is a strange game.

Earlier, after the US Open, I said I was glad Tiger won because I don't like it when journeyman players when majors. But, with Rocco's performance in the Open, if he can contend in the Open Championship, I'll be cheering for Rocco!

I think this could be the one for him. Hope he keeps it up. Though I did want Tiger to win the US Open, having Rocco win would've been a great ending as well. You can tell he truly loves the game.
