I started my round Friday with 7 consecutive birdies, I am just curious what the PGA record is to begin the round.  I know 9 is the record for consecutive birdies anywhere in the round, Mark Calc, but i can't find documentation on the first holes.....needless to say, i was nervous over my putt on #8...left the 25' putt nearly 2' short.

Only one at a time for me t date but I had 3 in 1 round which Im pretty proud of as a 20.0 handicap beginner. shot 85 that day :(

I've made two birdes in a row more times than I can count, but could never get that third one. The most in one round is four, which I've done four times. Not surprisingly, two of those times helped produce my best two scores.

I'm not sure I've ever even hit 2 in a row. My biggest weakness is aiming consistency on full swings, so unless I'm draining 30+ footers, par 3 and par 4 birdies tend to be pretty rare for me.  Most of my birdies are on par 5s.  I'm pretty long, so if I'm striking the ball pretty well anything 510 or less is usually reachable with driver/2h so I get at least an up-and-down birdie chance with a driver in the fairway and a decent or better 3i/2h.  So my great days tend to be a ton of pars on par 4s and par 3s, maybe one birdie in there, and then a birdie or an eagle on a par 5.

I think my most ever birdies in an entire round is only 3.  Maybe 4 at most.
