Most birdies for you on par 3's, 4's or 5's?

I believe statistically that professionals make the most birdies on par 5's. I kept track and in the last 5 rounds I had the most birdies on par 3's.

What about you?

Par 5's for me as well. Although at my home course on this 335 yard Par 4, I've gotten nothing but birdies.

According to Scorecard, in my last 32 rounds, I have:

3 birdies on 131 par 3s played (2.29%).
14 birdies on 318 par 4s played (4.40%).
12 birdies on 127 par 5s played (9.45%).

So, I make a plurality of my birdies on the par 4s (because they are the most common hole-par by a mile), by my birdie percentage is clearly highest on the par 5s.

I don't make many birdies.

Interesting question. My first par and first birdie ever both came on a par three, my first eagle on a five. But really, I've never kept track of it. I suspect that I do better on par 5's and 3's than 4's, but I really don't know. More things can go wrong en route to a par five or four than a three, but if I do things right on a par five I'm usually faced with a much shorter approach shot. I'd say that for me long par fours are the worst because they require a long, crisp second shot to get on the green in regulation, and that's provided I didn't screw up the first shot altogether.

I used to regularly play two rounds on a nine hole municipal course back in sunny Arizona and over the course of three years I birdied every hole multiple times except for one par five. I'd even been known to be sitting behind or beside that par five green in two shots, a 3-wood/3-iron combination, and yet I never birdied it, not once. But I'd birdied the long par four before it many times. I can't say I really understand it...

so i mostly par par-4s basically cuz their are short and i can drive a few of them

Par-3s for me. I've had two birdies on par-5s in my career and 5 on par-4s. Even if you don't count when I play par-3 or executive courses, I've birdied at least a half dozen different par-3s.

Granted, my distance is starting to improve, so I might be able to step it up as more and more par-5s will be allowing me my choice of third shot.

I've made 3 birdies in entire life haha. I'll take pars and bogeys. I've never birdied a par 3. I've birdied one par 4. And I've birdied two par 5s. One of them being a 545 yarder (3rd shot was from 150... I'm a short player)

I am of course, kinda, kidding ... I think that par 5's offer me the best opportunity at birds ... as I can usually be on the green easily in 3 (and on a par 4, there isn't a birdie opp. there) but I usually end up choking on the putt ...

I'd say that the majority of my birdies have came on par 5's. The only eagle I've ever hit was on a par 4 from 130 yards on the 2nd shot. It was just a lucky shot.

haha Yeah, that's what I say to my brother everytime we walk up on a 120-140 yard Par 3. I'm like "This one is going to go right in the hole like that eagle I hit."

I'd probably say par 5's, as I can reach a lot of them in two...or at least be hitting wedge into them. We do have one shorter par 4 at our course which is a definite birdie hole as it is drivable for the longer hitters. I'm pretty happy to take pars on the par 3's, for the most part.

For eagles, definitely the par 5's lol. Only two this year I think.

Still looking for that hole in one. Missed one this year by about an inch (ended up a foot past the hole).

Now if I could just get rid of all the damn bogeys!!!

Most by volume, par 4's, most by percentage, par 5's.

But my first 3-4 birdies were on Par 3's.

In general, par 5s by far. With 2 average hits I can reach a 465 yard par 5 in 2. That isn't that many par 5s in 2 so I usually lay up to around 80-105 yards and wedge in and make my <10 footer. Short par 4s are next. Wherever I can hit driver then wedge. Which on an average drive + wedge = 350. Par 3s I don't birdie too often.
