all i can say is wow 2 big thumbs way up for titleist and they're dt line..... let me first say i haven't hit the dt roll yet cause i bought a dozen of dt carrys at the end of june and finally lost my last one..... ive played alot in the past 3 months they have been VERY durable and a nice amount of spin for a 19.00 a dozen ball you cant go wrong...... im going to buy dt rolls next and make them last again, i still would of had a full sleeve still but i gave one to my dad..... i recommend the dt line to anyone.....

I like the DT line also but play the SoLo balls. I purchased 120 of them cheap and they are great.

I good compromise, inexpensive, good distance and good feel around the greens. I wish I knew what ball replaced the SoLo, the Carry or the Roll?

well the dt roll is what technically replaced the solo, the dt carry was a "new ball" from titleist..... im going to get the dt rolls next, but i love the trajectory on the dt carry

I tried the DT carry but as I allready hit a pretty high ball, it tended to baloon on me too much. I would like to try the DT Roll to see if it fits me any better. How do either of these compare to the NXT Tour? Just got a sleeve of those in a charity tournament yesterday.

I've hit both of them and really like them. Also I've really like the Titleist NXT Tour (same price range).

The NXT Tour is usually close to $29.99 at most retail stores while the DT's are around $21.99.

The DT's are indeed a very nice ball for the price. The thing I like most is the A.I.M. line. It's the biggest reason why I play Titelist golf balls most of the time.

Exactly, I love the DT Carry, I feel it is alot softer than any other ball I've played.

You play Pro V1's, you think its softer than that? I dont even think its close to as soft.

maybe he meant the softest in that price range / category ..... they are nice i had a callaway tour ix and yes its soft and feels like butter off the face and spin nice on the green BUT i lost like 5-10 yards in distance with my irons

I guess he could have meant in that price range. Does not seem like it though by his wording.

Another vote for the DT balls here. Before that I played the PTS SoLo balls and I still like them too Somehow the people at Titleist know how to make nice good golfballs.

I havn't tried the new ones yet, but I've used the DT Solo for years and luv 'em! When it comes to golf, price is never an issue for me, and although I try many different ones, I always come back to the DT Solo...obviously just a personal prefference, but they really do perform well.

Since the "Carry" & "Roll" just came out, I've found the DT Solo on close-out at different golf shops and I've bought about 12 dozen so far!

I had a dozen of them earlier this year and liked them alot, but for the price and amount of balls I lose i couldnt justify buying more.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
