when i get an email notification from a subscribed thread and i click on the link, it'll take me to page 18 of 21, or page 11 of 14. why doesn't it go to the newest page from where i got the newest reply? should be fixed, very annoying.

It should take you to the first unread post in the thread (for you). If you haven't visited that thread in awhile, you might still have missed some of the pages. So, it takes you to the first "new" post since you've been to that thread.
