I thought for sure the aspect on Camila's face in the interviews signified that she and Hugo were goners. Guess I was wrong. Good. I love it when she picks grass out of Hugo's hair over in the BMW zone. They're just that sort of couple.

It never ceases to amaze me what people notice on BB's. Camila and her obsession with hair - LOL - I never saw that, but have heard it from others. But what about Sally's eye? Did you notice how red it was in the interview?

And I loved Amber's putt, but more what she said to Robbie :) Got Michael's interview on the blog tonight and will add Dave, Sally, Haymes and Amber on Wed.

I saw Sally's very red left eye, and Camila picking grass from Hugo's hair on the bench. More importantly, I saw a glimpse of Camila's outfit next week.

Approved. I was glad they got the baby aspect out of the way early tonight, Haymes saying his wife told him to stay for Bernadette's sake. I thought they might try to drag it out throughout the episode, whether Haymes would leave early even if he and Bernie were still alive in the competition. Camila worried me early in the series with that somber look in the confessionals. I thought they might be the first team gone, when that look appeared in clips prior to a carryover elimination. But she's had that look several times subsequently so I'm thinking it might be tired after a long day, more than anything else. This was another good episode in terms of masking who was eliminated. No blatant crestfallen emotion. But when Amber and Robby were identified as the other possibility, I was confident it would be Casey and Rachel. Robby and Amber were more chipper in the confessional clips, including Amber playfully slapping him one time. I would have bet the (ever decreasing) dollarly worth of this planet that Amber would drain the eagle putt. It was 58 minutes after the hour and the accompanying background music was loud and overdone. One thing stood out from this episode: Don't out think the situation and have the woman drive first if you don't have to. It's simply not logical from a distance standpoint. I was shocked that Amber teed off first on the par 5, one week after saying, "8 times out of 10 they'll choose the girls' drive (as the weaker of the two)." It didn't work out for Robby and Amber on that par 5, and I couldn't have been more stunned that Rachel was picked to tee off on the deciding hole in elimination. Granted, Casey has had trouble driving recently and he's not as long as the other men to begin with, but you were immediately expanding your theoretical deficit by surrendering that type of yardage off the tee. Sally was really into this episode, moving forward off the bench several times to see the other players' shots, and standing atop the bench at the end of the elimination challenge. I hope they replay that Shoot Out thing. I'm on the road the next few days. They should have included at least one of the former Big Break champions to compete against the famous pros.

Funny you mention the women driving first. My golfguy said to me that he'd make me play off the tee first because he said, "I would hate to have you play from behind a tree - it's a shot of which you have no knowledge." LOL!!!

Bummer, one of the hotties had to go last night. Casey really struggled for the team the entire show really. If it wasn't for Rachel's great putting they may have gone earlier. I thought Casey had too much lateral movement in his swing. You could really see it on the drives. Pull, pull, pull. Rachel had such great posture in her address. Such a straight back (and nice booty by the way). That putt must have felt really good for Amber. I am finding her quite a little competitor. I love her attitude. Unorthodox swing or not she gets the ball going towards the hole.

Oh, I saw golfgal's comment about driving. I was thinking the entire time that Casey should have let Rachel take over the tee box. The further the shot the more Casey's pull came into play. They may have survived if Rachel did the driving. She just seemed to handle the pressure much better.

Looks like Sally may have found her swing (and/or confidence), David has always had some game but has been over shadowed by his "personality". Hugo is right, they will make a tough team, when they are firing on all cylinders. I like Sally, but I hope they do not win, David would be unbearable.

I still agree with the previous post that most of these guys/gals are not PGA/LPGA material.

I think they should provide the fee for Q-School, an Adams equipment contract and some money for expenses (if you make it through Q-School) instead of a slot at a tour event where they could quite possibly really embarrass themselves. Having the money to try and stay on tour is a bigger break than having a one event shot..... jmoc

I'm in a hurry to play some golf in Maui, but wanted to let you know that I finished up all the

interviews this week on my blog (Mike, Dave, Sally, Haymes and Amber). Learned a few new things - always love that.

Totally randomly, I went out to play a round of golf while on vacation today. I rolled up as a single and they said they'd pair me with another single. It turned out to be Michael Michaelides.

He is an awesome ball-striker. His drives go for miles, and laser-straight. He'll attack the pin on an iron approach regardless of the lie and distance and his accuracy is so good it's comical.

The other thing to mention is that he's a REALLY nice person, very genuine, down-to-earth, and a great ambassador for the game of golf. BB was smart to chose him as a competitor.

My buddy, who I usually play with back home, is a very good golfer (1.2 index), but today was something else.

Thank god David and Sally are gone. I liked Sally but was fed up with watching that David goof.
And did anyone else notice the nice camera work on Amber?
Also, Camila is just too cute. Loved her reactions in the drive and approach challenge. I'm rootin for her and Hugo to win it all.

Hey Fat Slice! I hope you don't mind, but I shared your post with Michael this week. He said nice things about you too :). Check out

his interview tonight. I'll add Haymes, Sally, Dave and Andrea tomorrow to the blog. Golfgal

As much as I am glad David is gone kudo's to he and Sally for recovering for pars on the last hole. Bernie executed a couple of really good pitch shots on those holes. I really like here attitude. Amber is so cute when she let's go of a few expletives. She is a fiesty competitor and what a great performance on those drives. Can't wait until next week. Hugo and Camilla are going to be tough to beat unless they choke a bit.

We got several good looks at Haymes swing last night. He opens that face wide within a foot of his take away by breaking his wrist hard, I don't see how he can put it all back together but he does, and fairly well. Glad he held it together and did not let David get to him.... jmoc

My wife, who doesn't even play, even commented on Haymes' swing. It's pretty ugly, but it seems to be working ok for him right now.

As soon as I saw David wearing that hat in his confessionals, I knew they were gone. The hat just screamed "I'm moping and don't want to be here."

Same. It was a blatant giveaway, along with his accompanying facial expression, minus the typical swagger.

That's the first time I remember a guy being the obvious clue toward the result. I enjoyed this episode for many reasons but it always seemed destined to be Haymes/Bernie vs. David/Sally in elimination. That comment by Haymes, which was used as a teaser last week, that David had been getting on his nerves and enough is enough, or something like that, was uncalled for and out of character for Haymes, unless there was a showdown between those two teams. Otherwise: * Golf Channel has been getting very lucky with the female eye candy survivors lately, Charlotte and the Ashleys in the Highway 18 finale and Amber and Camila into the final 3 in Big Break Michigan. And Bernadette looked her best this week with the green skirt, earning several crotch cam surveys. * As a gambler I really appreciated Sally's great instincts to call Camila immediately in the first challenge, asking Hugo to stop it within 25 feet. At this level and with pressure like that, you have way the best of it forcing the other side to perform. Stina and Billy Ray should have emphasized that. I was going nuts when Amber and Bernadette were volleying back and forth in decreasing footage. Top male tour pros don't average much better, if any better, than the distance they had dropped to. Too much Name That Tune and not enough understanding of applied probability. * Bernadette's swing looks more solid every time I see it. Very good crisp timing through the ball. She should be on some tour. * As these series wind down the focus is more and more on traditional golf. That leads me to scrutinize putting. In Ka'anapali, Lori had dodged eliminations but always looked like a shaky putter and that played out in the semifinal match. Here, Haymes and Bernie looked good putting this week, after previously avoiding eliminations. If I had to peg it, as a group Robby and Amber appear to be the weakest putters. Both have missed relatively short putts in key situations, including Robby last week vs. Casey and Rachel, self described as a simple putt for a right hander. Amber missed during the wall challenge but made the eagle putt last week. Hugo seems very confident with the putter, albeit a bit further from the ball than typical. I can't think of too many putts by Camila. * Perhaps they were producer-like head fakes, but I keep defaulting to the comments by Amber on the Duramed website, ones that I pasted on the first page of this thread: "It’s going to be interesting to see what they cut and what they use,” said rookie Tour member and contestant Amber Prange of Noblesville, Ind., whose older sister, Ashley Prange, was the winner of “Big Break V: Hawaii.” “It was a great experience and an eye-opening experience,” added the younger Prange sister, who teamed with then-boyfriend Robby Shaw of Kentucky. The two are no longer dating. “We’re actually no longer speaking,” admitted Prange. “I’ll be interested to watch this show unravel.” *** I've been wrong many times before but terms like "no longer speaking" and "unravel" don't seem to align with the likely victors. You would think an accomplishment like that, and the accompanying prizes, would soothe even the nastiest breakup, at least temporarily.

i tried to read thru most of this but i didnt see an explanation of whats up with sallys eye?

Right as always. I realize these thigs are readily manipulable, but everything I've observed on the show and through other internet sources suggests to me that it's soon a done deal for Amber and Robby. Too bad, as I like Robby's attitude (I've even stopped referring to him as the boy toy -- not just because he could clearly kick my a** -- the dude's a bull moose), and I like Amber for her golf in spite of her swing, not to mention her swanky exterior. So if it's a head fake by the producers, I'm taking the bait. I have high confidence in Hugo; if I were a betting man, I'd have my money on him and Camila.

    • Day 238: played 18. Back 9 was pretty good after a rough front 9. Then worked a bit after the round at the range, just firming up some feels.
    • Day 6 (15 Mar 25) - Played in local course’s 2man captain’s choice St Patrick’s Day tournament.  Great day of working closely with my teammate on course management process.
    • Certainly BUY used so many near new Drivers in Good condition that will suit ...which IMHO the shaft is the most important part if you want to buy new get a shaft new that suits you then find the head you like the feel off
    • I found being part of a Great Golf Club renewed my love for the game and comps ..previously at my other club I was just a player with novice player mates or solo .and that was hard to progress and drive the passion when my job was very restrictive to playing in good weather and friends couldn't play as much...  that become a grind at times and gave up the game for couple years..but now work for myself and have clear goals and new GC with serious players ongoing comps and great course I can pretty much always get on .. some great Golfing friends I made playing in the weekly comps ..I'm loving it..  Still get down on my game and can walk off gutted ..but thats the game we wouldn't love the good round if we never had bad rounds So for me maybe dropping the pressure of the HC grind and more so enjoy playing comps with others serious on the game ...understand the game is hard ,enjoy the good times and your game will develop ...
    • Big week of Golf nursing golfing elbow ....played local amazing course Arrowtown tuesday ..had a tidy 81 for what I felt wasn't my best Golf in some wet windy conditions found the greens tough to read and gave away many shots... three birdies Played my local GC wed STB mens comp... very rough whole game not happy 89 just felt tired made so many mistakes max 4-holes I played well the rest rubbish to woeful ... Friday played south of my local Alexandra in a 4ball with my mates (we have a comp same partners over the year) played pretty well after not even hitting my 3wood past the ladies tee on the 1st hole ...very slow greens to what I usually played so we made gimmes within 2ft ,,,, couple birdies .. Wasn't going play ..but wife wasn't stressed so joined into the SAT Medal comp ..teed off early .. had some brilliant holes and shots some of my best .. birdied 3x ..78 for the day gave me a 7th in SNR division. putting let me down had a 4x putt on 3rd hole PAR3 ... along with 6+ three putts ... what could have been  Now looking over the above I'm sure many thinking go sort ya putting ya idot .. but couple weeks previously I played three comps .. out of those three I only had one 3x putt my best 24 putts over a round  ... but my driver off the tee was rubbish ..
