I'm happy for him. A few months ago, I wondered if he was going to slide into mediocrity before lighting up the Champions Tour in a few years. Now he looks, once again, to be a viable contender on the PGA Tour.

Considering his injuries, I think he had a pretty good year. There were many tournaments where he was atop or near the top of the leaderboard on Thursdays and Fridays. He would then lose ground and be out of contention. (Camilo Villegas suffered from this, too, earlier in the year.)

I don't think he'll be a dominant player but his goals are changing. He's looking forward to the President's Cup like Kenny Perry was looking forward to the Ryder Cup. Here's hoping he makes it.

      Day 1 - First chipping and pitching. Focus on a better grip, the fundamentals and taking the club back on plane, not outside. Feels good. Then some full swings. Focus on improving the setup. Weight more forward, more bent over, and same grip stuff.

      Congrats on the improvement. Cheers for lots of continued improvement in the future. IMO you've gotta get away from these spots… Those are partly "results" as the work will begin on things earlier in the swing. Good luck.
