Golf Gear I Received For Christmas

I know it may be a little early for this thread. But many of you, like me, already know what golf gear you are getting for Christmas. Here is a chance to list your new toys and give thanks to all the people in your life that know your greatest passion and are willing to accept it.

I know for a fact that I am getting

1. Nike Unitized Leo putter 35"
2. A dozen Bridgestone e5+
3. A Popeye clubhead cover (he's strong to the finish you know)

And I think there is more to come.

All this is thanks to my girlfriend. This is our first Christmas together and I mentioned how I never really get what I want. So she forced me to make a wish list, which I did on TGW.COM. Awesome! No gift cards from places I never go! Now I just have to order her wish list from Victoria's Secrets. And no, it's not lingerie. It's all sweaters and shoes. But isn't open communication great? Merry Christmas to me!

I'm hoping to get either a GPS unit or a Rangefinder. I'm really in a toss-up between the two.

Get a GPS unit. I bought an expensive rangefinder, A bushnell medalist when it first came out. That I think i overpaid for anyway at $500. But still that thing is useless, its damn near impossible to get it to point at the flag, and you get inconsitent readings. I ussually try to point it at a person if someones on the green in front of me. But I dont know, maybe I just dont know how to use it right.

I don't know if a book counts,but i was looking to get the book " playing a round with the little pro" by Eddie Merrins,its not in-structural but looks like a great read.

I just ordered Dave Pelz's Putting Bible and Short Game Bible off of Amazon. I picked up both new for $40.

I'm getting a Nickent 4DX 3 Wood and will probably spend any money I get given on golf gear. Bought myself a Yes! Valerie putter the other day that I guess was an early Christmas present to myself.

Her dad is all happy about me starting golf now that he's getting me some sort of golf themed gift.

I have the Titleist 690.CB's all wrapped. Can't wait, counting down the days. I'm probably going to get a 3 or 5 Wood for myself with the Christmas money, and probably a 54* to go along with it.

The wife already gave me a Nike Unitized Retro 33" putter. I'm sure I'll get at least a couple of dozen golf balls and probably some clothes.

got some all black golf shoes (told my wife i was tired of my white/brown ones cause they always looked dirty... it annoyed me when i tried to dress all spiffy-looking)

got some used steelhead 3 and 5 woods... i hit every model the pro shop had to offer and nothing hits better than them steelheads (for me anyway) and my 4 wood is worn so i asked for a 3 and 5 in somewhat better shape and steel shafts instead of graphite......

and a bunch of balls.

hopefully theres some more surprised tucked in there somewhere

My mom just had me order what I wanted so I am getting an Odyssey White steel 2 ball SRT putter (need to replace the $10 Dunlop i have) and I am not sure what my wife is getting me but anything for golf is always good

im getting a leupold gx-i rangefinder, and maybe a vokey with some money i get from x mass, probly a 58 or 60* model. I also know that my mother is getting me some kashmir sweaters!! which will be awesome because...there kashmir. i will probly get a couple dozen balls and some acessories. Hopefully my custom team ping hoofer will also come in the mail...yes i realize im getting alot, and im thankfull, i am also lucky that my b-day is jan 4th!

Not sure what I am getting however, I came up with a great way to get what I want. I made a folder titled "Dad's gifts" on our computer's desktop. I then went to all the items I want and saved the page into the folder. That way my wife can choose from an assortment of items and price ranges to select from by just clicking on the links in the folder. The link takes her to the exact item, size, color...etc that I desire. I put links to about $3000 worth of stuff. I know I won't get it all however I will get what I want.

Advice: The Golfer's Warehouse (TGW.com) pages did not save correctly for me. Golfsmith, amazon, and gppgolf all saved perfectly. I tested each one because my wife is clueless about computers.
