So how does everyone roll with their towel?

Do you attach it to your bag, or not? Reasons?

i have a small 12"x12" towel attached to my bag, and i also carry a larger towel in the cart. i generally use the smaller towel to wipe my clubs with and the larger towel to wipe sweat with. I'm in Florida and it gets ungodly hot here in the summer....

when I walk it stays on the bag... when I ride I might keep one on the bag and one that I will walk out to my ball with and generally keep in and around the cart, myself, and what have you.

I've got two towels clipped to the bag. One is very easy to unclip, so I use it when I want to do something away from the bag -- clean a ball on the green, use as a chipping target, or scrub my clubs clean. The other is used when I just need to wipe something off a club as I put it back in the bag.

In the bag:

Harmonized 52° GW, Tom Watson 56° SW, X-Forged Vintage 60° LW

One clipped to the bag I use for clubs, and one I take to the green for the ball which I stow in the front of the cart.

I carry 2 towels, both of which are clipped to my bag at the beginning of the round. If I'm walking they both stay there. If I'm riding the second towel (which has a waterproof lining) is unclipped and I carry it in cart. When I go to my ball and need more than one club (which I almost always do because I hate getting to ball and realizing I have wrong club) I take that towel to lay the extra clubs on (to keep moisture and dirt off the grips). I almost never use that towel for cleaning - just for laying my clubs on. The one on my bag is what I use to clean my clubs.

One towel, half of it is wet, half dry. Clipped to the bag with a spring carabiner. I rarely take it off except to re-wet it. I don't take it to the green, a little grass stain on the ball doesn't bother me when I'm putting. I clean the ball after the hole unless the cart is close enough for me to walk on over to it. I wipe my clubs after each shot, and that is where I want the towel to be.

Two towels clipped on my bag. One has a damp edge for club heads, the other's for grips. When I actually look down as opposed to just doing it out of habit, at least...

A couple of my fingers shred like crazy no matter what, so I use 1/2" athletic tape to wrap them up. That tape (though it makes me clean my grips more frequently) is wonderful for doing a quick clean of my ball on the greens. And it's convenient, unlike carrying another towel around with me that I will undoubtedly lose because, well, I'm like that.

I keep one clipped to my carry bag, but am considering adding a second smaller one clipped to my belt or something. In the wet winter conditions here a practice swing can still pick up some mud or grass, and it would be nice to have something to wipe it off without totally breaking my stance.

Who needs a towel when you have a pair of pants?

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

I keep 3 towels - 2 attached to by bag (one to clean my clubs, the other to dry my face when its hot out)

The 3rd I leave in the front of the cart and use it only on the green.
