Not sure on what pants to get to golf in for this season. After reading the dress code thread im worried ill get to some of the courses im going to on spring break and wil be asked to try new clothes or something.
Was wondering if these pants i already have will do.

Im going to find another pair or two but not sure what to get. Dockers?

those are just fine... just be sure to add a nice collared polo, not some t-shirt or wife beater.

Not an expert but I'd think that the pair posted above (along with just about any dockers) will be fine...

Looks like golf wear to me. I bought a butt-load of Dockers a few years ago . . . wear the best ones to school, and the older ones on the course.

Those seem fine to me...as well as the mentioned Dockers...just stay away from any type of denium fabric...many courses frown on it.

A lot of public courses really dont have much of a dress code. They may frown upon jeans, but Ive never seen anyone be asked to leave because they showed up for their tee time in a t-shirt and jeans. On most of the courses Ive played, you see people in jeans and t-shirts all the time and no one ever hassles them about it.
Those pants should be fine though.

Nope I see an extra pocket for the watch. Haha JK.

I'd imagine those would be just fine.

Yeah, you just gotta watch out for denim or cargo pants, like was the subject in the other thread. A plain front khaki like that will not get you in trouble.

Spring Break, would I be correct you are going somewhere warm? You might want to trade those pants (which are fine by the way) for some shorts so you don't end up sweating like a pig. Just make sure they aren't cargos, they should look like those pants just shorter.

I have seen players told they could not play in certain attire, but it was years ago! On a normal summer round here in Upstate NY I wear a polo shirt untucked and Docker type khaki shorts. If I'm playing in a tournament basically the only thing I change is I tuck in my shirt. For me that is the most minimal standard of dress on the course. Jeans are ridiculous to even think of wearing but I don't freak out when players wear them. I find Dockers so much more comfortable and see players as at a dis-advantage wearing jeans. I play and score much lower when I'm comfortable!

For the most part, casual non-denim slacks with a collared shirt (and a mock turtleneck counts in this regard) are the dressiest a course dress code will get. Most courses, shorts and collared shirt are fine, but when playing upscale or country club courses it's a good idea to call ahead to confirm dress code. One country club I played even told me they expected my pants to be pressed, shirt tucked in, outfit to match and clean shoes, but that's been the extreme for me. I have recently seen courses say 'no cargo shorts/pants', but that's only been a couple courses.

I have some "champions tour" pants that are awesome! They have a little elastic in the waistband that is so nice for playing golf. Absolutely love them.
