Reservoir Dogs, though Pulp Fiction is a close second. Lock, Stock and Snatch are great too. Shawshank Redemption is right up there too.

He set the bar so damn high in Pulp Fiction, it is seriously ridiculous to even consider another movie as my favorite.  For the young middle aged male - who has yet to see this flick.  Do yourself a favor and watch it.  It is gripping and will change your appreciation for film.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

God damn that was a great movie!

Ha Ha. Now I can't stop thinking of lines from that scene! Right after he shoots Roger, "Oh I'm sorry, did that break your concentration?" LMAO.

And for some reason, now that it's getting close to lunch, I am really craving a burger from that HAW-why-in joint down the street.  I also feel like getting a Sprite to wash.  This.  Down.

Well, GOT finally ended, and last night the wife was hogging the DVR so I couldn't even change to the golf channel or anything.  What is a boy to do??  Finally had a chance to watch "Lock, Stock ..." and you will be utterly shocked to know that I loved it!

You weren't kidding when you said they were like brothers ... very similar movies.  But both good.

But I'm dying here!!!  What was Tommy's next move?  Did he answer the phone immediately or what???

EDIT:  I just went up and read my old post in here and apparently I'm just repeating myself. :)

    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
