Does anyone know when club companies are going to start producing clubs with the new grooves? It stinks that I have to get a whole new set of clubs. It took me 6 months to get used to the set I have now.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

With a +4 index, I'm guessing he'll be affected a little more than most of us!

Of course, with a +4 index, he can probably beat my sorry butt playing with an umbrella!

Some already do. So... the answer to your question is "October, 2007 for release in early 2008."

Actually for the average amateur it's 2024.... you can use the old ones for 14 years after the new rule goes into effect. As to when, My Titleist AP2's already have the new groove configuration.

None of the guys I play with are sweating the groove changes...in fact many are still buying new wedges and such now with the Zip Grooves, Spin Milled, Mack Daddy, etc.

You've got some nice irons in your sig line. Enjoy 'em. That's just my opinion as your average everday hacker who doesn't typically play in tourneys where this will impact me greatly for the next few years. I'm most likely going to get some new wedges soon (maximum spin I can get) and game 'em until they are worn out. By the time I replace them, it'll be most likely with conforming sticks.

Thanks for the comment about the irons Dub, I LOVE THEM! I am getting confident with my 6 , 7 and 8 irons now. Hit the irons well today...

With my 6 iron i love hitting punched shots, all I do is move the ball back and have a shorter follow through. I would say that the 6 was going 160 today, hopefully around 170 in summer.

What do you think of the MD Golf Superstrong wedges? I am thinking of getting 2 of them as they are around £50 each... Think they got 162 points of of 200 in golf montlhy, second only to the Vokey

playing into my legs to me means after I load the club in the backswing, all the movement of the arms and club are to transfer energy into my legs... and from there, the legs keep everything connected in my swing. They are the anchor and the driving force behind my swing.

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee
