With winter in full force here in Pa todays 50 degree temperatures felt like 90. I took full advantage of it too, i went out and atleast swung the club around the yard and then hit two balls with my 3 wood. One of the toe that sliced and one was perfect. Then i cracked out my new Cobra Speed LD F driver. Both of the drives were hit off the heal and sliced but i wasn't expecting a good drive considering i haven't swung a club in about 4 months. Man i can't wait intill the end of april when the course i golf opens up and i can get out there and restore my swing and work on getting a putting stroke back and everything and then beginning to play by mid may.

That's always a good feeling this time of year! I'm in Montana and they're predicting a high of 50 and sunshine tomorrow. I'm planning on going out and playing around the snow drifts on the course!

I am not a fan of the sloppy muddy golf course or i would have gone to the course yesterday. I am not saying that i dislike all water in general but i just don't like it when ever step you take you have water coming up around your feet. The course i would have gone too gets especially wet in some areas. Just the way the land is.

I'm just wondering but is your courses open all year? Or do people just go there and play when some of the snow melts?

I drove by my local course today. There was piles of snow and the ground was very very wet. They will not allow you to play till it dries out some. I did swing the clubs for about 30 minutes. Hopefully it will not be long till I'm back on the links.

Lancaster isn't too far from me, so it had to have been pretty damn muddy, huh?

Anyway, sometime this week, I hope.
