I went an bought a 3-pw set of Cleveland CG gold. after hitting them and a list of other clubs, including Nike,Ping,Titleist,Mizuno ect...

i was hitting the 6 iron cg gold where I wanted and was averaging around 165 yards with it.... I think I could have got father, but wanted to make sure I was getting a good feel for the club, not just trying to slam the ball down the range...

anyways I have a 56 degree wedge, a driver, and a putter, and a 3 wood..

what do you think i need to add to fill in any gaps?????

The driver, wedge, and 3 wood are older clubs I have had for years, and plan on changing them out soon, so any godo recommendations wouldbe appreciated.

thanks

I'd recommend getting a 52* wedge and either a 5 wood/2 iron (hybrid) or a 60 degree wedge.

I would for sure get the 52 gap wedge and choose from the other two by which one you need more. It's different for everyone.

I would leave it a while. The type of course your playing will be a major factor,it will be screaming at you to use a club you are not carrying,or maybe it wont it which case save your back and just use 13 clubs.

Hmm...I'd probably recommend that you get a 19 or 21 degree hybrid and possibly take out your 3 iron. I know that there are exceptions, but I've never met a 24 handicap who could really utilize a 3 iron. A gap wedge is also a very good suggestion. Depending on the loft of your PW, either a 50 or 52 would fit in quite nicely!

Agreed on the gap wedge. Also look into a 19 degree hybrid or my preference a 5 wood.

Your PW is 45*, so a 50* GW would be perfect. I would stay away from a 60* LW, unless you have time to practice or are very comfortable with high lofted wedges. I would hold off on your longer clubs until you replace your driver and fairway wood/woods.

best of luck with your new bag

I would recommend a 3 hybrid as well. The only reason I bought a 3 iron is for tight fairway holes off the tee. If I can't reach the green with my 4 iron in the fairway, I usually lay up. My next purchase will most likely be a 2 or 3 hybrid.
