they look pretty good. Third swing looks the best to me. The takeaway on the first looks off for some reason, maybe the plane? or balance issue?

total other issue: why are you barefoot?

Of course, your handicap is much better than mine so my advice probably wont help.

Nice and balanced, however, the plane on your backswing is very steep. This can cause a flying elbow and you are probably losing a bit of power.

Sam Snead loved to play barefoot. He said he could feel his swing much better that way. Just sayin.

I think your swing is pretty good...

one thing I noticed is how you tend to cross the line on the top (your club head points to the right of the target) and this may be something you could work on fixing

My buddies and I always joke around that bare feet on greens are the best stimpmeters available.

I can't tell for sure at the angle but it looks like you have a very steep swing. Then again I don't know what club is in your hand but even if its a wedge it still seems steep. It looks like the club *in the down swing* is in line with your neck and nowhere near the line passing under your shoulder.

If you get a chance to post another vid its easier to see everything if you are exactly lined up facing away from the camera.

yes i do have a steep swing and an extremely high ball flight but i have very good distance and i can knock it down so it doesnt bother me.

Thats good. What kind of spin are you getting on the ball? This is kind of related to a different post but on average would you say that your ball is rolling out, checking up and stopping or coming back with say, your 56 degree wedge?

on good greens spins back decent greens stops dead and bad greans about 5 foot of roll out

    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
    • Day 151 1-11 flow work today. I've been doing all pause work, so Inwanted to get some rhythm going. Recorded.
    • a) No b) This MLR says: I doubt the MLR is going to affect their weekly league games, in other words.
    • So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands
    • Original definition use to or still is how far offline you hit it. It might be better to think of it as consistency in retaining favorable launch conditions to optimize distance.   That heat map showed a gigantic 0-3% loss in ball speed. That is absurd. The true 100% sweet spot is tiny for all clubs. Good luck telling the difference if the sweet spot is under 3% in a sizable area. Especially considering variation in launch angle, spin, and outdoor weather.
