an additional 15 yards is a ton for a single digit handicapper. You say your friend hooks it a lot? Maybe when he was testing/getting fitted he was hooking the Str8 fit more and thus the computer was recording him as hitting it farther...?

It's not with his swing speed swinging the wrong driver. If you can hit a pull and get an additional 15+ yards out of it, then why can't he get an additional 15 out of a correctly fit driver and a better swing? And he isn't a single digit handicapper.

15 yards more with a driver isn't that much if you aren't hitting it correctly AND you are using a driver not fit for you. He could have been hitting the ball really high with a regular shafted driver and then went to the fitting and hit the Str8 fit with the correct shaft and correct fit and lowered his trajectory to where it's supposed to and hit it much further. I don't understand what is so surprising about this? I can hit my 3w at least 20 yards further than I can hit my cousin's 3w. What's the difference?
