Whatever is in my bag. Normally there's a bottle of water, but occasionally there's a good ol' bottle of Gatorade in there.

Mostly water, but I'll throw in a gatorade towards the middle of the round to get some carbs and energy in me.

For an early tee time, pretty much all Canadians drink Tim Horton's coffee. lol

I rarely drink alcohol at any time but if it's a really hot day I'll sometimes grab an ice cold beer at the turn.

My drink of choice at the turn though is an Arnold Palmer which, for some reason, my golf course hasn't offered so far this year. I'll have to look into that.

I went from a 20 handicap to a 2.7 by drinking this stuff!!!

Ha, unless you're drinking gatorade tiger "focus", the purple stuff which is actually pretty good. It does not help me focus, though.

i always drink alot of water during a round and i always take more than i think i will need.

If I hit it right, it's a slice. If I hit it left, it's a hook. If I hit it straight, it's a miracle.

Usually the green Tiger Gatorade. I'll admit that I first bought it because it was "Tiger's", but its my favorite flavor. Not too thick or overpowering like some of the others. 2 or 4 of these. A few weeks ago I drank a 44oz Cherry Coke at the turn and had a headache on the back. But the hot dog I got was huge, probably the best one I've ever had.

Water and on the weekend, water and beer but no more than 3 beers per round. Does anyone find that beer in moderation helps?

I'm a weekend duffer, who plays strictly for fun. I ususally drink 5 or 6 on the front, then another 5 or 6 on the back. I typically always shoot better on the back. Dont know if its from the buzz of from being warmed up. (My first swing of the day is always on #1 tee box). After a few beers I tend to loosen up and quit thinking so much and just hit the ball.

I always have 2-3 beers when I play.

Scratch that - there is one group that I play with occasionally that doesn't drink, so I don't either. In that case it's diet coke. Like 3 of them.

I think that the relaxation that can come from beer helps. If beer allows you to relax, then it helps. I shot my lowest score to date borderline drunk, haha.

I usually just drink a lot of water, especially walking. Every once in a while I'll drink some beers while playing, if I'm really looking to enjoy myself.

Usually I bring a gatorade and fill it up periodically with water fountains on the golf course. Every once in a while I will go out with a buddy and split an 18 pack or we will each bring a 6 pack of tall cans. Golf can't be seriously 100% of the time, at least not for me. It's a hobby and will likely stay this way.

I will always bring a bottle to put water in.

On the really hot days I will keep a small cooler in the car for Gatorade (courses around here usually don't allow brought in drinks) and get a bottle or two at the turn. I don't really care for the Powerade flavors that most places have so I bring my own. I try and stay away from soda unless it is a Mt. Dew in the morning. Although sometimes it is nice to drink something that has a flavor. I don't drink at all so beer is never an option.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Gatorade and water. I usually carry two bottles of water and a gatorade. In scramble events I'll drink several beers.

    • Day 127: 5/2/24 Stack Full Speed spectrum training session 6/24. Training speed was 5 mph higher than previous high, as was e-speed. Still not as high as I have done in previous programs, but just 1 mph lower. Battling through a neck issue, and possible trigger fingers. Happy with results.
    • Day 49. Played 9 from tees a bit beyond my comfort zone and was humbled. Hit a couple good shots so will take that at least.
    • +12 47, and never lost a ball or had a penalty. Got the snap hooks off the tee for the first 3 holes. So, playing the punch out game. Probably had like 20 putts. Bad short game day. The greens were weirdly firm but slow. I just don’t get spin out of the rough. I had a SW, with good height hit middle half of the green and end up almost off the back of the green. I know what I was doing with the full swing. Bad habits creeping in.
    • 9 years and counting. Lil chipped paint here and there but still going strong. Also have an 18 deg driving iron that I got a couple of years ago which is doing well too. @iacastried it and I think he liked it.
    • For PING to assemble and ship it? It's a 3H. Yea, the new club has more loft. How do you like that, 2H?
