Great advice.

Looks like you already have some good equipment. I say go for some lessons.

or spring for a really nice round at the course you always wanted to play but could never justify the cost.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

Anything you need? How about a nice rain suit. We never think about a nice one until it starts raining. I like the idea of playing a course you would not normally treat yourself to.

I went out Monday and bought a pair of new footjoys for $140,I've had footjoys before but these are so comfortable i cannot believe it.I never had a pair of shoes of any description as comfortable.I had nike shoes before them that i bought 6 months ago for $160 and these were the most uncomfortable,horrible shoes i ever wore,if you lost a stud out the nikes forget about putting one back in as the stud holders are so soft they just deteriorate.
So after all this i definitely recommend that you buy a pair of footjoy shoes.I had four birdies today and i put it down to the shoes

superfast tp 2.0 3 wood stiff
Halo 25 and taylormade tp 19 degree hybrids
miura cb 202 and wedge
tp 52* wedge, tp 56* taylormade spider mallet putter

Nice shoes are worth having. Footjoys for me and I found some recently marked way down. Got them online at the Golf Locker. I got three pair of Contours marked down to $64/pair. Normally about $110. Good place to buy from.

      First going to spain for a long weekend in March probably going to play La Quinta, Los Arqueros and Fina Cortesin, and first week in May will compete in the Crawsnest Tassie at Carnoustie golf links, that will be a full week of golf golf golf and more golf. Did play it last year for the first time and it is awesome.

      Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
