Definately an excellent program! From your stats I would suggest you work on improving your GIR and fairways. I'm around your hcp and have started using Scorecard. My main goal now is to find the fairway and find the green in regulation. That's when you can start making safe par and some birdies.

i agree, my last round I did SO much better with my driver. But I agree, fairways/GIR are my weakness right now. My short game has been pretty good.

Yeah, you seem to get up and down relatively well. I'm in the same boat. I've started hitting more fairways with the driver (about 67% last time out) but my GIR is very low (in the 15% range).

I can't help but think that if I'm putting my 3rd on a par 4 instead of trying to pitch on, I'm gonna consistently score lower.

But I agree, spectacular program. I was a beta tester for v2.0 and I must say that they are incredibly thorough about testing the program and very open to suggestions.

I find the aggregate stats and the graphing very useful. In many ways it just confirms what I already know/suspect but that is very valuable. Armed with this knowledge, as proof not speculation, is huge in how I plan out my next week of practice. Scorecard was/is defiantly worth the investment.

I like it as well. It is pretty easy to know what areas of your game are holding you back but the software breaks it down so much that you can see which is worse and which might help your scoring more.

You'd be surprised at how many people THINK they do something that isn't accurate at all. And I'm not talking about distance...

One guy thought he hit 50% of fairways, and he was trying to be realistic. Turns out he hits about 28%. Another guy thought he tended to pull the ball off the tee a lot - he hit the right rough more than 2x as often as the left rough off the tee. Getting back to the original guy:
Penalties - 3.50

Those are often course management mistakes. Yes? No? If yes, easily fixed...

GIR - 11.11%

Your key to scoring will be to get these numbers up higher.

Right Rough - 35.71%

Slicer?

Putts per GIR - 2.50

Another key and an easy way to lose strokes. (11% GIR means you two putt one and three putt the other of the two GIRs you hit in a round, so with only two rounds and at most 4 GIR this isn't really that telling... but something to keep an eye on).
