Tomorrow is my League's Two Clubs and a Putter day. I can't believe the season is half over !?!?

We have a side skins game with about 18-22 other like minded players. We ALWAYS play at least 18 holes for the side game.

I got this in my inbox today....

**************************************************************************************

I think we need to put this to a vote

So, regarding the side skins game do we.......

Option A: Play all 18 holes with two clubs and a putter
or
Option B: Play the non league 9 with all clubs, then the league 9 with 2 clubs and a putter

I don't think everyone be able to do 27 holes so I'm thinking there's no room for an option C....

Reply to all with your vote and we'll just let the majority decide. Votes need to be in by noon on Thursday so we can let everyone know what's up.

Someone please send this to Jerry , I don't have his Email

Just our of curiosity. How would YOU vote?

Also, does anyone know how to get in touch with Jerry?

.

option A as well. As for clubs, I'd probably go 3 wood, 7-iron and putter.

i was thinking a pitching wedge and a 4/5 iron.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

I would go with option A.

I wanted Option A myself. (play all 18 with 2 clubs)

But.....It looks like the voting is headed the other way... That's OK though, I'm still deciding whether to bring my 7 wood, or my new 4 wood or the event, the warm up 9 with all clubs will help me decide. I'm leaning 7 wood & 8 iron, unless I'm hitting the new 4 wood consistently. I just put it (4W) in the bag last week and only hit it about 12 times...

Too bad, I like option A too. Better to have 18 holes to get your groove rather than split it up. FWIW, I'd prob go with a 4 hybrid and an 8 iron, unless there was a specific reason (maybe par 3 lengths) to change that.....

In David's bag....

most phone companies have removed that phone number. Except for a pizza place in New york that kept it and was trying to sell it on ebay sometime last year.

    • Day 133: did a stack session.
    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
