The J36 hybrid isn't listed as right hand only, but most of the rest of their clubs (I didn't check all) are listed as right hand only. That's bizarre. I'm surprised a big company like Bridgestone doesn't make both left and right handed sets. If for no other reason than what-if Phil wanted a West Coast wedge?

Another company - Srixon - made headlines when a two-time-in-a-year winner left-handed player switched to their clubs without the sponsorship (which he later got). It seems bad marketing to have RH only.

I hear the e6+ can be used by left handed players...

The other problem they have is that their distribution sucks. I have played golf for 20+ years and have never seen a Bridgestone club in person. I don't know if they just don't like Missouri, or if we are not a 'golf state' so they don't bother, but I have never seen them in a store or in a pro shop.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I'm pretty sure the ultra low demand is driving the distribution. Have you seen Srixon irons in person either? Their clubs probably don't make a dent in their revenue stream here in the States.

I'm not too surprised that they don't offer a lefty consumer product. They've probably crunched the numbers and determined that it wouldn't have any positive impact on their sales, especially since their market share is so tiny.

i've never seen bridgestone clubs either, but have seen plenty of srixon. i've seen bridgestone hats and balls and towels (have bridgestone towel, haha) but it seems like they never put their clubs in the stores or pro shops? i would be intrigued by their wedges, they look nice, but I can't even see them anywhere or try them!

Bridgestone is everywhere around here (Tampa Florida area). Golfsmith and Edwin Watts carry Bridgestone clubs here. I dont know why they arent in other areas. Weird. They make great clubs IMO

They probably are. I got new clubs last year and they made my top 6 or 7 that I wanted to try and demo based on looks and reviews. I went to every golf store and pro shop I passed and I couldn't even find one to hold in my hand, much less demo. Needless to say, they fell off the list.

I played and still have a set of J-33s, and they are great irons, very similar to Mizuno's MP57s. The feel is great. Oh, I don't see them often in golf stores, but the ones I bought were in the pro shop at the course I play the most. Apparently the golf pro arranged to stock them, but I have not seen any J-36s. I was told by a Bridgestone related person that the 33s and 36s were very similiar. You could probably get a good deal on a set of J-33s since they are not the current model. I would recommend them as a great choice for a mid to low handicapper who does not like much offset and can handle a smaller club face and more traditional (meaning not jacked-down) loft.

I'm surprised there arent more Bridgestone iron users on this site as there are so many who use Mizuno. The two are very similar.

Well, like previously stated by me and other users here, I think it's easier to find/try Mizuno irons (or their clubs in general) oppose to Bridgestone's.
