... stumbled upon this video last night and had to post it. damn, these are some hideous swings. its a wonder how they all can hit the ball straight. one thing i noticed though, is pretty much all the players today follow the same swing pattern from downswing to follow through.

warning: this video is not for the faint of heart.

Great video. How many major wins among those bad swingers? Just a guess but I'd say at least 25.

My vote for the ugliest swing is Jeev Milkha Singh...it's a little nutty.

But honestly as ugly as it is, Jeev can really golf his ball and I bet he has taken quite a few bets from players who think his move on the ball is an indicator of how he scores.

The ugliest is definitely Earmonn Darcy.

Without a doubt, imo.

My Tools of Ignorance:

Driver: Ping I20 9.5*

I just spent 10 minutes of my life ruining any semblance of a swing I may have posessed.

Just took 10 minutes to convince me i can make my ugly swing work

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
