Painting the dots on my Scottie

Hey guys,
I just got a new Newport 2.

The main color, as you are aware is red. I dont like red. I really dont want to stand over my putter with the red on the head.

Anyhow, I want to turn my Scottie to the color blue.

I want to try and paintfill all of the red with blue. And I am going to try and find a blue Scottie grip.

What is the best type of paint that I should use? Any ideas?

Testors acrylic model paint works well.

The sign in your AV is red... I took the red out of mine with acitate. (sp?) It looks really good with just the plain metal, too.

took all the color off my newport with just some goof-off and a q-tip, you can buy it at most hardware stores, dosent do any damage to the club, and it looks pretty good with out any colors on there

Use acetone and a toothbrush to remove. Use toothpick and Testors to paint. Works perfect.

I have to ask... how are you addressing the ball so that you can see the red on the head? You shouldn't see any of the colors except for the sight line (if your model has one).

I wanna change my Mid-Slant, too. Everything that is red I want to change to "peel out purple" along with some stamping and a new purple dot cover.

Yeah I'd like to see a pic of that. I've thought about removing the paint on mine.
