Sitting on a big lead- Strategy

Last match play tournament I played in I lost because I started thinking too much about the score. Honestly, what ever you were doing to get to up 4 is EXACTLY the way that you should play the rest of the holes. Only when you get down should you really press.

By the way, if you do blow your lead (which I hope you won't) I wouldn't be too worried about it. Happens to everyone so don't psych yourself out over it.

Also let me add...it's never over 'til it's over -- that means every SHOT, every HOLE, and the MATCH. Sorry to shout, but you have to drill that in your head. I won my last match play when my opponent stubbed his putter on a 16 or 18 inch putt. Good luck!
