60 Wedges

I [heart] my 60*. Its the most versatile clun in my bag.

flops
chips
high pitches
low checkers
blast out of some heavy rough
sand shots out of harder packed/wet sand (lower bounce than my 56).

A full swing is the only shot I wont play with it. A 3/4 56* works just as well and is easier to hit. Otherwise, if im anywhere near the green to 60 comes out and usually the ball ends up pretty close to the hole.

FWIW I just added a 60* to the bag and I love it. My SW was my go to club around the greens but that is changing pretty fast. I find it easy to hit and control. I'd say add one to the bag and give it a shot.

Love the 60* wedge...it always has a place in my bag.

After all...it's all about the "scoring clubs".

I love my 60*. I use it everywhere close to the green. I am new to golf so I rarely make it on the green on my approach shots, so I am always resorting to that club to get it close.

I love my 60. I know when I hit it the ball is going where I aim and stops dead. Anything inside of 80 yards its my go to unless I'm chipping.

An I use my 52* fo every shot from 110 in. I am now using in the green side rough instead of my 56*. My 60* has gotten any love in a long time.

whether it's 52, 56, or 60...a higher than PW or AW is a must have for around the green. If I'm not on the green in reg..I'd almost rather be in the first cut as opposed to the fairway...because it is such a comfortable lie to hit from with my 60.
