How Legit Is Jack Hamm?

I got to say. I did buy his old driver the one with the hole in it and I could hit it a country mile. Only driver I could ever clear the small lake at the back of the house with and it was over 250.  I broke the shaft though.  I got the new hammer x and hit it about the same as any other driver. then the head flue off. I called the number they gave and spoke to the Hammer himself. He was great about the it sent me out a new one right away and some glue to fix the old one.  So I now have two. Any one want t o buy one still in the wrapper how about $50 bucks plus shipping.  POW

Sorry to ressurect a dead thread. But, the club. Im a newbie and I really can smash a ball. However I broke the xfactor club today and it was a clean ball shot. Maybe inside a little but it broke. 1 week of use. I got it in a bag of clubs on craigslist and it was actually not bad. Im using a j33r 9.5* on a voodoo shaft now and I'd have to say the voodoo shaft combo is much cleaner of a hit for me. And the whistle was annoying. Distance wise, I may be honest here and say the air xtreme had it. I'll skip my numbers because no one will believe me anyways. But its about a 10 yard difference. Major flaws.. That whistle, seriously wtf you could hear it from 200 yards easy. Brittle, I had to close my club to compensate for the torque when it supposedly had less. Pros- distance albeit sloppy and the infomercial.

Jack Hamm is totally legit...I played a round of golf with him and he consistently drove the ball 325+ yards. He's a great guy and his Guiness World Records are also legit. I gained 20+ yards using the Hammer X Driver with Aerospeed shaft and was amazed how easy it was to line up and hit. The ball propels off of the clubface with a medium-high trajectory and then lands with plenty of scoot and roll-out. Jack's infomercials may be a little over the top, but his products do work for a lot of golfer's who are looking for distance. I bought my Hammer X Driver off of the Golf Channel informerical and couldn't be happier.

      I have an update… I don't have much of a response, because the fact that they would ADD the numbers for the lead and trail shoulder together… I mean, wow. I was giving them too much credit. Nobody would think to assume they were doing THAT. That's beyond comical. One of the biomechanists I talked to put it this way: "So if I squatted down and went from 180 to 90 deg knee angle, then I would say 180 deg range of motion because I have two knees?" I'd type more (maybe), but honestly, I'm laughing a bit too hard. 🤣 Update: Mini Manavian blocked me on Instagram, so I cannot see his post showing Bryson with about 50° of range of motion (with a driver) from P4 to P7, and 75° only if you go out to the mid-follow-through. What a terrible loss for me. 😉

      I've shot 91-74 on the same day before. Couple of years ago played a two round tournament on Bethpage Black. I shot 72 in the first round and 90 in the second. First round I played very well. Second round I played okay, but had about 5 shots that hit the lips of bunkers and bounced down into them. A couple of those wound up in footprints - I was unamused - and I failed to get them out. Anyway - lots of bunkers and my bunker play isn't great and then add a couple of footprints and me getting pretty tired and it added up to a lot.  Only you can really tell though what's causing the variance. It might be that your swing is very timing dependent and when it's timed well you play well and when it's not then it goes all over the place. In that case, some lessons and working on your swing could be the key. If it's more that you tend to feel like you hit it fairly consistently, but you have days where the shots come off and days where they don't, then that's more likely a course management issue. If that's what you need to work on, then you could read Lowest Score Wins and build a plan of attack based on that.  Rest assured though that a pretty big range from high to low is fairly common. Even PGA Tour players often have 18-20 shot spreads from best to worst rounds in a season. It's a common affliction among golfers.
