Well Thursday really. On my League a guy with more money than brains broke every one of his (NEW) G 10 irons (steel) He pitched the PW in a deep water hazard and looked me in the Eye and said. 100 bucks and they are yours. Cha ching done. Got some recommended shafts from local golfsmith, shafted em up and they play like a dream for me. Best score ever.

I was actually looking at some clubs a few weeks ago..thread in here someplace. I can't believe how much easier they are to play compared to my CG golds.

Shafts cost me next to nothing. And, got the ping oversized grips

I do need the PW but hey, I hit my CG gold PW pretty good. Guess I could get a diff PW. Suggestions?

pretty any manufac. makes a 48* wedge, pick your poison - Titleist, Callaway, Cleveland, Ping, TM i tjink you get the idea

pick one up that looks and feels good to you and get at er

Don't do that as the loft on the g10 pw is more like 45... Check out some of the lost clubs websites, eBay, craiglist. Even like an i10 or g/i5 pw would work fine

I'd get a good magnet tie a line to it and try to fish out the PW. Did you see right were he through it? If you can't retrieve it get a G10 PW off ebay.

Sounds like the guys an ass, but I'd play with him for deals like that! Congrats!!

Hahaha, amazing story man, you're very lucky. I can't bleive how he broke all his steel shafts in one round. What was he doing? banging them against trees??

Now I gotta figure what to do with the CG Golds. Maybe ebay them. No G-10 on ebay yet. Figures.... BTW That UW plays pretty nice from 50 yards :) Not sure what range its for or how far I hit it yet but from 50 i nailed the pin twice with it :)

It was on our league night. Everyone was lookin like...What the heck. Yup, broke every one in half. Some over his knee some on the ball washer pole. Took a few minutes too.

Funny thing is I played with him Sunday and he had his old wilsons in his old bag. I kind of felt bad with my new pings with new shafts. He did not care one bit. Shook my hand after the game and said "Looks like those were made for you Bro" Beat him by 2 strokes. Yet another best game ever for me. I think these clubs are a keeper for me :)
