Lately, I feel like I have to open my stance when using the driver. It seems to help my hook a little, but some times it goes waaay right.
By the way, I broke 100 for the third strait time on Sunday

Does the ball go straight left or does it start out straight and curve to the left? Either way, your clubhead is shut for some reason. Strong grip, wrong ball position, flipping the wrists.

It could be that your hips are not clearing and you are all arms and that causes the hook. Opening your stance helps get your hips turned if you aren't very flexible.

The problem with opening/closing your stance as a BandAid is that golf is a game of opposites. So, if you open up your stance, you actually close it on the back swing. Therefore, it's better to attempt a squarely aligned stance.

As Bruce Lee would say, "It's all in the hips." Your hips are the first thing that you have to get working. If they don't get clear then you get bound up and all sorts of swing problems can occur
