I can get it going on the range. I can bring it to the course ...but it fades as I go. Still trying to build that muscle memory.

what was the question in this post?

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

My post was also seven words long, but all posts don't have to be seven words long. Do they?

The biggest tip that helped me?

As the day goes on, remember: relax and go slow.

I only go to the range if I am trying out a new club or working on a swing or grip modification. I save practice for the course when I go out by myself. I have 5 totally different courses near me that I can play for right at $20.

Practicing at the range is not for me. I get drained way too quickly at the range because of just hitting ball after ball which is not how it happens on the course. There is time to recover between shots on the course.

Your posts are still questions.

A quote from Kris
...is that college bball really isn't "lower tier". The better teams have their rosters filled with guys who could play in the NBA. hell, guys used to come straight from high school to the NBA. I really don't think there's much of a difference skill-wise between the two.

^LOL

I know what you mean. It varies for me. A lot of local course will not let you play alone so your usually paired with 2 or 3 more. Sometimes I feel like I could give lessons after a trip to the range, but the next day it doesnt show on the course, and vise versa.

There's no rule at the driving range that says you have to hit the balls quickly one after the other. Take 2 or 3 minutes between your shots at the range just like you would on the course. You won't get drained too quickly and you'll have plenty of time to recover. I've seen people go through 3 or 4 buckets of balls in the time it takes me to get through 1 because I take my time with each shot.

I think I may stay away from the range and try and get more solo twilight rounds in. There are very few flat lies on my home courses. You also can better hone your short game.
