I use the markers that clip on my golf visor, too. Very handy. Have one from the Masters, one from Harbour Town, one Golf Channel, one NC State. Also carry a MondoMark by Pac-Golf which is the size of a silver dollar (approx) and you can see it from across the green when you're trying to read longer putts. Pretty handy.

Dimes ... I've lost every ball marker I've every owned. Dimes are small enough they don't bother me in my pocket.

What do you mark your ball with? (Please, nobody say "a tee" and be serious!)

In the past I've used Canadian two dollar coins, but recently went to a hat clip with a red maple leaf....

My wife gave me a very nice 1947 half dollar for my birthday and I use it as my ball marker. Why 1947, that's the year I was born.

I finally got a marker made from CNC Effects with the sand trap logo and my name on it. Real nice, cost was okay, shipping a bit high for just a small coin to be shipped.

Never had anything just for this other then what ever coin was in my pocket.

I use a real Las Vegas poker chip. Found it on the ground in the hallway next to my hotel room. It's worth $20. The only problem is that it's thick and large, so I have to move it all the time when I'm near someone's line.

I really like this thread!

I'm using a hat clip marker that I got at the Masters tournament this year. It's white, green, yellow, and gold that has 2013 Masters on it.

I also have others in my bag.

Two orange Auburn Tigers markers with the blue AU on them.

Two white and black Titleist makers that came with hats that I've bought.

A gold plated Susan B. Anthony $1 coin that I keep polished.

I use a coin my father received during operation enduring freedom.  It's large but it's got sentimental value.

I finally have a bunch in my bag that I use consistently.

-Nice bright, funny shaped, TST logoed ball markers for longer putts (so its not bothering anybody, and so I can see it when I'm lining up the putt

-A handful of 2 (or 5, I forget) rupee coins my wife had laying around the house from her last trip to India for marking closer to the hole.  (Not much else to do with them) ;)

I usually use whatever spare change is in my car's cupholder when I get to a course, but this summer I've been using the little magnetic ball marker that came on my most recent glove.

I think I want to find a two-headed coin, then scratch up one side really bad a la Two Face from Batman. Given my putting, it seems apropos.

$500 chip from the Bellagio

No but really, just an old roulette chip.  I play at a course in Houston that sells "poker chips" with their name inscribed.  I have a few of those.

I am surprised by the number of golfers here that use foreign currency as a ball marker. Can't say I've ever run into that on the course.

Several players in my golf league, me included, use foreign coins.  I have traveled all over the world and one of the things I get in every country is a coin.  My favorite coins are from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Canada and Europe.

Half of this made me throw up a little.

I just use a Nike magnetic marker that clips on my hat. Nothing fancy.

haha I had a unmarked magnetic brass hat clip i used for awhile.

then the magnet fell out. so now i use whatever i find in my bag. a generic plastic one, a coin, a footjoy glove marker you name it.

im not too picky.

    • Yes, because you have lifted to like 120° without bending the left elbow. So when you turn and the left elbow bends… it bends in such a way that you then lower your left humerus and pull the club around you.

    • Day 3 (23 Jun 26) - Grandson put in to play this morning when he arrived at the house.  He wanted to play a full 18 from the "purple" tees (these are custom tees that play shorter than our gold but longer than the red) in a best (super) ball duet.  Was a great day working on course management - seeing him play well (for a 10yr old) - for example, hole 12 has a temp green about 100 yds from the tee box, he hits a solid 8i to 4' pin high and nails a birdie putt.  Could have never been prouder.  These are the moments grandfathers dream of - and hopefully the memories he will recall when his day comes to be Paw-paw for his grandson....may the game live on.
