I think the new rule only applies to questions relating to "I found a website that has R9s for 37c with a free Golf Cart and a pair of plaid Plus Fours thrown in for nothing, do you think this is legit?" I'm pretty sure other golf related websites (links to courses, new products, etc.) are fine.

My animated Danny Noonan avatar wouldn't fit at one time, so I had it in my signature. I also had a link to a little golf related product that I like. Just the other day I log in, find my avatar moved (must have been resized), and the link gone. No message, no warning that I was doing something wrong. Nothing. Just appeared that an admin cleaned up my info for me.

Yes, and both of those break established rules. Our mods and admins have their hands full as it is - we can't always email people when they break the rules.

Yes, it does, and sales of Scorecard (a far better app, but obviously I'm biased

) help to ensure that everyone here has a free forum. But beyond thinking that it's mildly tacky to talk about oobgolf here, I didn't delete the thread about it and the word "oobgolf" isn't censored, so clearly I don't have a big problem with it. And what this has to do with "Golf Talk" is beyond me, so I've moved it to Tech Support.

I didn't delete it. I never even saw the thread you guys are talking about. I was at a WPGA event all day on Tuesday.
