Ways to find people to golf with?

I work till 2:30 in Vista Monday through Friday. I am working today and I want to play. I could be in Temucla at 3:15. Do you want to play say 9 holes at Temucla Creek?

I golf about 2-3 times a week and most of the time i golf by myself. Anyone know how to find some people to golf with. I don't mind their handicap just looking for anyone. My friends don'kt golf much so that's out.

I went to the Pittsburgh Golf Show last spring and saw a sign that said, "Are you looking for a golf partner?"  Since I was recently retired and wanted to play more than my regular golf buddy, I thought that I would inquire. When I asked them about finding a golf partner, they asked me what my age was and other personal information.  It turned out that this was a "match making" company that paired single men and women for a golf outing. To make a long story short, my wife said I couldn't find a golf buddy from this company.

I did not read all the posts here so likely someone has already posted this suggestion.  But if I was you I would call around and see what courses have a men's club and join one them.  Most are relatively inexpensive and for sure you'll meet a lot of local golfers.

Do you have any idea if/when you might be opening one in southern California, specifically Orange County??
