Ha we both posted topics about 54* sand wedges at the same time. Anyway, I'm not sure about under $60 but for about $80 you can find older clevelands like the 588 I think. It is definately a quality wedge. Also, on tgw, they have FEEL golf wedges for $70 and $40 which have gotten good reviews. Theres a review on this site too. Good luck.

You can find good authentic wedges on Ebay, by purchasing from an AUTHORIZED dealer. I purchased my Nike SV Tour 54 and got the item for under $60. Message me for further details.

Before my Nike VR wedges I played the Nike SV tour wedges, they were very nice wedges, plenty of spin when needed.

My wife has a Wilson Harmonized wedge, it seems very nice. TGW sells them so you look over the "tour Guide" to get a good look at the men's clubs.

I went with a Nike SV Tour Wedge in 54 and its real nice. Works out of sand, deep rough, fairway, fringe, and pretty much anything else you could get yourself into. I definitely over play it but it gets the job done.

I would hold off on buying a new wedge until all manufacturers enforce the new USGA groove rule in their production. Should be around late november or december.

Why? take advantage of the "good" grooves! We dont have to use them till like 2020 or something like that, and amateurs that compete dont need to use them till 2014....

Ah, I take it we don't play by the rules? Well, I have to get the new ones. Gonna try out the new Vokey CCs. We'll see how they are.

I'm sorry anyone who uses the new grooves and isn't a pro or turning pro isn't very smart. It just doesn't make any sense to handicap ourselves because the USGA wants the rough to be more penalizing for the best in the world.

True, but I still think we'll see manufacturers weed out the higher spinned wedges within the next few years. In my opinion, better adjust now than later--even if it is twelve years away. Good point.
