Youtube has a lot, but the video quality can be pretty crappy sometimes. It is best to try and get ones posted on their from the CBS Swingvision or something similar.

Golf Digest has their swing sequences section of their website. Here is the link:
http://www.golfdigest.com/instruction/swing

They have some video, and others are just the still photos of player's swings.

I think there is downloadable software that you can use to download embedded videos.

I've never done it though.

I took a number of videos at the Traveler's championship earlier this year. The nice thing is that my camera has a slow mo-mode, that records at 240 frames per second. :)

Here's a link to some of the videos I've posted. I found them really helpful for studying what the pros do vs what I do and it has really helped me to improve my swing.

Here's the link .

Yeah, it is really flat. But man does he hit it solid. I think the other swing comparable in its flatness is Matt Kuchar.

That's pretty neat, swing vision on your hand. May I ask what kind of camera this is? I've been looking at casio high speed cameras for my this purpose.

I just bought a Sanyo VPC-FH1a for $405 off amazon. It takes 1080p @ 60fps and also will do 60fps slow mo, 240 fps slow mo, and a ridiculous 600fps slow mo. I can't wait to get it. It is actually a Christmas gift for my wife, but I might borrow it. ;)

The 1080p at 60 FPS is good. The 240 is at 448 x 336 and the 600 is at 192 x 108, though, so you might not get much use out of those modes.

zenchili, can you tell us what was the resolution for these videos on youtube? If those are around 448 x 336, I cannot complain.

The one that I'm praying to Santa is this. The high speed video spec looks similar to Sanyo but what works better for me is that it is based on still camera. http://exilim.casio.com/products_exfh20.shtml

The 240 fps quality is not that bad looking from the videos I have seen. I would like to see what it looks like capturing a club traveling 85-100 mph though. Would it be possible/better to shoot the swing at 1080p 60fps and then slow it down using software? I have only seen my swing on a cell phone video camera so I am excited to for some quality video of it. Is the TMO guy still doing swing analysis? I have watched all of the posted videos and really enjoy them.

It' Sanyo FH1, I think it is 448x336. It works great for me. The 600 FPS is really tiny and virtually unusable, but the 240 is awesome. Also, the Full HD at 60 FPS is sweet!

    • Titleist TSR1 or TSi1.  Both have adjustable hosels. edit:  Forgot to mention the GT1.
    • I've been really absent all things golf since September but have been getting the bug lately.  Today in SE Michigan we have our first thaw of the year.  It is Sunny and 53 degrees and boy do I want to get on a golf course!  Spring is around the corner 🙂
    • I assume you are posting 15 or 16 holes and letting the USGA algorithm insert projected scores for the missing holes. How is that going? Are the projected scores reasonable? I have yet to do this.
    • You're right. I haven't really had an issue with this before, but it's definitely worth closing the legs a bit to see what happens. I've had 2 of these and never had this problem before. About 5 years of use between the 2. It's really odd. Yeah, I've always had a bit of inconsistency and misreads, but this is a new level. I did a baseline session last night, and all my of stack speeds had decreased by roughly 5-10 mph (with me throwing out the obvious garbage readings). Weirdly, the driver speed actually seemed to be right where I expected it. I guess maybe it's having trouble with the smaller head of the stack vs. a driver? Whatever it is, I think it's time for me to go with the stack radar.
    • @DeadManI used to use the Swing Speed radar and, in hindsight, it seems very unreliable.  As @iacassaid, it's prone to misplacement, and I'd sometimes get wildly different speeds from swing-to-swing: like a 103mph, followed by 118mph, then a 102mph, then a 114mph.  I didn't know any better at the time and thought that was normal.  I've since upgraded radars and the new speeds seem much more accurate/consistent. Also, Mike Carroll (FFG) used to have the SSR and he now calls it a 'random number generator'.
