45 degree PW, 50deg bent to 49, 52deg bent to 53 and 56deg bent to 57 that way I keep my 4 degree gaps. PW=125yard, 49=115, 53=105 and 57= 85 all with a swing a bit less than full. Since having the range finder laser I discovered the gaps in my wedge game hence this set up.

my wedges are 46, 54 and 58. I play well with this setup even though I have the habit of using the 58 too often. i should hit more low shots instead of hitting flop shots all the time (they're so much fun). This setup works for me because I'd rather fill the gap betweem my 3iron and 3 wood with a 2H. Otherwise I would have gone 46,52 (perhaps I would have bent it to 51),56,60. I would start with the 52 and 56 and then add a 60 later if u feel the need for it.

Id go with a 52* and a 56*. Thats going to give you a good spacing between your wedges.

I agree with TitleistWI!! My most used wedges are PW, GW(50*) and SW(56*). I will only use my 60* on special circumstances, which is only 0-2 times a round. 80 yards and in, on the fairway or off in the ruff, I use my 56 exclusively.

PW-45, 52, 56, 60 work pretty good for me. My average is 45(120yd), 52 (90yd), 56(70yd), 60(50yd). If you have >30 yard gap, you will need partial swing or consider to have additoinal wedge. Bounce is depending on condition of surface, mostly dictated by where you are. I remember that Titleist web has good information to consider on their wedge section.

J_Bone,

I see you have the CG14 wedges. I am looking at 56 degree. How do you like these wedges?

J_Bone,

I love it...I have the same action as my old Spin Milled.

This is how I use it....
80 yards and in, on the fairway or off in the ruff, I use my 56 exclusively.

My 60* is basically my sand club and that's it.

Im with Jamo and DaSportsGuy. I used to carry 48 56 60 but I got rid of the 56 and went to the 54 and 60. 60 is my favorite club...if you practice with it its gives you so much versatility. 48 52 56 doesnt give you the range that 48 54 60. Best of luck to you and your short game.

I also have the 47 (PW), 52, 56, and 60. If I had to pick two only, it would be the 47 and 60. Everything in between can be made with 1/2 and 3/4 swings.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
