Any feeling on this type putter? Pros cons etc... I have played with them in pro shops and they feel unusually good in the shop but I know these things change under course conditions. I have an Itsy Bitsy, a Two Ball Odessy, and my current putter; the Taylormade Daytona. It just seems the farther from center the shaft gets the more feel I seem to have. Alignment is not an issue, but feel to speed is what I am looking for. Any input is appreciated.

If you have an in to in putter swing and need to be able to really get the face to close on the follow through in order to square the face, a heel shafted putter is what you'll need.

Phil Mick uses one - when you're at the shop pay attention to whether the ball path is pushing or pulling when you strike the ball.. the straighter the better obviously.

I have used one for 40 years, It has been a great putter. Do you want to sell the Daytona? I have started collecting Rossa Putters.

I have considered changing to a heel shafted putter but not sure if it would really do anything to help me. I can start the ball on line now. The putter I love is the new Scotty Cameron Cali Del mar but I would have to buy it without ever trying one. I like having a more square stroke without much open and close too it and can start the ball online this way.

I use a putting tutor by pelz all the time so I no for certain that I don't push or pull my putts when I hit a good putt.

They really promote pulling putts.

Been considering a black series #9. The #1 has been doing well, but my misses are almost always just right of the hole, or a lip-out right. I'm a door-closer, so the extra weight 'might' help me square up the face a little better.

I personally don't like them. My aunt has the White Hot #9, and I've tried it, but I just don't really like it. I missed all of my putts with it on the left.

I guess you guys answerd my question. My tendency when I miss is a slight push to the right on straight putts. Usually not much more than a ball at the 5ft. range. Maybe I should try to take one out to the course for a "test drive" to really see if this is the direction I need to go. Putting is my biggest weakness, and speed/distance have always been troublesome mostly due to a neurological problem (I have impared sensation/feel in my hands). It makes repeatability challenging since nothing ever feels quite the same from swing to swing. Although this does not seem to bother me with my regular swing...Go figure.
Thanks again for your input on this!
