Just wanted to see if anyone else disliked the new Leaderboard at PGA site. I hate that you can't custimize your players. And the screen is buggy. It seems like a copy of the Masters.org leaderboard. Hopefully the bugs will go away.

Driver - Taylormade R9
3 Wood - Titlelist 909F2 15.5 degrees

2H - Nickent

4H - Taylormade
Irons - Mizuno MP-63 5-PW
Wedges - Titlelist 52 and 60 and Cleveland CG-15 56
Putter - Scotty Cameron Stainless Steel NewportBall - Pro V or V1

I like it. I don't know what the old one was so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems fine to me. I like being able to select players to watch that way I can keep track of the players on my fantasy team.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

I've felt for a while that the majors have a worse leaderboard - in terms of online following, not in terms of who is on it, of course - than the regular events.

Assuming you mean the TOUR, the one thing I really miss is the ability to see the hole layout that the current player is on. Other than that, I prefer the new one.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I like it. It has everything the old board had with more features. As far as tracking your golfer on the hole he is on I think "shottracker" will do that for you. The leaderboard will give you a play by play for any golfer in the field.

Don't like it. I want a simple scope, not fancy sidelights. Seems like every golf oriented website I frequent has undergone a facelift in 2010, and not one of them for the better. I still have hopes this place will return to the classy light blue.

Seems like that other Haney got involved, Mr. Haney from Green Acres, or a descendant, and sold everyone a bill of goods. It reminds me of his famous line from one episode, ""Well let me put it to you another way...how come you always need what I show up with?"

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
