What do like or dislike about the Speedline driver. For anyone who has owned or hit one. I'm thinking of trying one out soon, but thought I'd see what you all think of it first. Thanks!

Not sure what you were swinging, but the ones I have hit as well as the one I own (Org. Speedline and 9032ls) are very forgiving; as much so as my G10 Ping. The Adams clubs are long as my Ping or TM R7 and have a quite nice sound to them. Not a crashing can sound like some (Nickent/Cleveland HiBore), or even the poping florecent tube sound of the Ping, but a very nice sound more similar to a TM. Speedlines are nice drivers that perform very well.

Adams drivers don't have the really powerful sound of some brands as was said above. I just recently switched from the Insight Series (a few yeras old, obviously) to the Speedline. I think Adams makes great metals and hybrids. Outstanding launch, and they've really done a lot to increase the sweet spot and make them more forgiving. I've been playing Adams woods and hybrids since I came back to the game last year and I love them.

My only complaint is that they're not as lefty-friendly as some of the bigger companies so I end up waiting a while for special orders if I want the 'new' stuff. The wait on my Fast 10 is going to be a few weeks...

Ohiolefty,
Would you PM me with some range results when you receive and get out with the Fast10? I would like to hear a little more "average guy" data on the club. Thanks.

Was hitting the Ping G5 in an Aldila NV 65 Stiff

Now playing the Adams Speedline 9032LS in Aldila Voodoo X-stiff.

Number 1, for me it is longer, probably 7-12 yards. The ball flight is the boring type flight and I don't get the balloon action into the wind. I don't know if it is equal as far as forgiveness as my Ping was pretty darn forgiving, but I have hit a few on teh toe and it corrected the flight of the ball, so I'd say forgiveness is good, but maybe not on par with my previous driver.

I think if I'm going to spring for a new driver this year it will be a G-15. More than I'd like to spend, but worth the $$$. I've read nothing but good about that club from all diffrent skill level players.

Not going to argue that decision. That is a nice choice. I have an i15 and g10 that I really like, I just like the feel of the g10 moreso. I haven't hit the g15 but if it's like any of the others you will be pleased. Good luck

I got one but it's backordered until March because the lefty models, even though they are for SALE all over, aren't actually availiable until mid-March.

I saw some of the senior guys playing with it on TV yesterday and it looks good. The only prominent guy on tour that plays Adams is Aaron Baddeley, and he hasn't been in the final group(s) yet this year.

The Fast 10 is bad at all I think it is better than both previous Speedline models and surprisingly the stock Wasabi shaft isnt bad either

I just picked up the Fast10 the other day. I havent played with it yet, and coming from the old Redline Ti 460, its gonna take a really good driver for me to make the switch permanent. On the launch monitor I was hitting this new club with the stock Wasabe shaft at a launch angle of 14* with a spin of around 2600rpm. I didnt have my gamer with me, so I couldnt compare the two, but my old Redline still feels hotter even after playing it for almost 10yrs...same shaft. I will head to the range tomorrow and see how it performs. I am not holding my breath as I have bought a new driver every year since I've played with the Redline and have yet to find one that is better...

The Adams is a bomber. I hit them all and the Adams was a no brainer. It is forgiving, BUT NOT the most forgiving (compared to Callaway or CLeveland). It looks great at address, sounds good, and really is a great driver. If you want a little more forgiveness, try cutting thh 46" stock length to 45" or 45.5"....

The Adams Speedline and Ping G15 are both great options. I've hit both extensively on the launch monitors recently. I think, for me, the stock shafts in the G15 don't really work with a 100+ mph swing speed, and the Speedline shafts really work well with my swing. The G15 face feels a little more buttery and probably goes just a tad farther, but I think the Speedline is slightly more forgiving. I think I'd go with the G15 if your swing is under 95-100 mph but the Speedline if you're at or over that clubhead speed range. They're both very long, and I think both feel and sound very nice.

Adams's pro drivers are not very forgiving at all. Mine is quite costly on off center hits, toe is hooky, and the heel is nearly dead. Off center shots also sound awfully clanky, and feel like crap. That being said, they are absolute bombers on center, low spin, piercing trajectory, amazing feel, great sound. Adams makes the two extremes of clubs, tour caliber (Pro MB Black, Insight, etc) and ultra game improvement (Idea A7OS, etc.)
