I'm not sure quite what this means, but here is a video is Tiger's swing. At impact his left foot is a little off the ground and just after is moves all over the place. I guess what it shows is that everyone has swings where they look like they are doing something that they don't normally do.

Look at his left knee. Big difference.

The Tiger swing above caused me pause. Maybe it is an illusion I am seeing. As he takes his backswing, near the top the shoulders stop turning very much and the arms and club just keep on going -- he is extending away from his body, raising his arms off his body a lot more than I remember. Yeah there is a slight continuation of shoulder turn, but the arms and club move a long way in that last part of the backswing.

That has to qualify as the worst tip I ever heard..."swing as hard as u can we can teach you later to hit it straight" To say that to a teenager who has no idea WTF they are doing is stupid. To say it to a teenage Jack Nicklaus or Paul Casey is completly different..but to mix up the two is irresponsible.

What?? That is exactly what he said on TV. Alot of tour players learned how to play by hitting it as far as possible (JB Holmes comes to mind). I guess he was irresponsible to say that is how he learned how to play and suggested that is a good way to learn.
