ray nearly broke 80. He had a 7 foot putt to shoot a 79 on the 18th hole and missed it. Of course this was when ray was with his friend a week later playing and they brought out their camera when he was close. Im sure haney helped him with his game, 80 is pretty good for how ray was playing.

I feel bad for the guy. He was hitting some horrible shots but I'm sure the power of the editing booth made him look a bit worse than he really is. As a mid-capper myself, I can totally feel his pain. 80 one day, struggling to break 100 another.

10 bucks says, Ray's wife breaks 80 before he does, hahaha

LOL....agreed. That guy needs to get out of his own head.

Its tough when your a comedian like him, were you look for the negative in everything. His self depricating humor doesn't help, really his mental game is horrible. I also hate the whole loop thing Haney promotes, its a quick fix, but if you really want to get him to break 80, get him a swing he can consistantly do, that probably means starting new. Get him with short swings, build up, do it slowly. If you can't do it slowly you can't be expected to do it in a split second.

I'm not sure... In the first episode Ray stated that he had shot 80 several times, but not broken it.
