I'm looking for an Ogio bag, and there are 2 maybe 3 things I'd really like it to have.

#1 14 dividers, I hate the clubs being slammed in one compartment, not ideal. So 14 dividers

#2 ONE Strap, no triple backpack two strap nonsense, I see these on like every golf bag, and my current one had it, hate it! So just ONE strap, can you remove the other one on some Ogio bags?

#3 Possibly a stand, I walk alot, so Stand bags but open to others,

SOOoo is this possilbe? New or used, 2008-present bag with these things?

I love the Grom til I saw the 2 straps, can one be taken off? Same with the OZone.

Thanks!

My Grom bag does have two loops for each should on the one strap . I've never had a problem with it.
The only one that I know that has a strap with no should loops is Ping. But none have the 14 dividers.

I couldnt tell you for sure, but im positive Ogio has the info you want on their website. There are others besides Ogio who make nice bags also.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

My Nike has 14 dividers and is a stand bag. You can remove the second strap, it is a pig though, fine for 9, 18 would be a long day.

When I looked for a new bag, I had some similar requirements -- specifically 14-way top with full-length dividers and a stand. I looked at an incredible number of bags just to find that practically mythical combination. Sun Mountain makes ones as does Nike (the one in my sig), but that's about it. If you don't need full-length dividers for every club, that opens up your selection a bit, including the Ogio bags you describe.

In my search, there wasn't one stand bag I remember seeing that only had a shoulder strap. However, some of the double straps are designed such that you can use the top strap as a shoulder strap and the other one stays out of the way. I do this with my bag quite a bit, but I personally have grown fond of having the other strap for those longer walks.

If you can live without the stand, then there are bags that will meet your other criteria. The Ogio Spry is one such bag, but there are definitely other cart bags with a 14-way top and only a shoulder strap, though they do weigh a bit more.

I have the Ogio Vaporlite CC stand bag - has the Crossbow Lite mesh shoulder strap system ( 2 straps). I never tried to remove one of the staps as it can be slung over one shoulder without an issue (the second strap poses no issue).

One gripe that I have with my Ogio bag (and other Ogio's I've seen) is that the leg action on the stand is pretty weak - the legs don't splay enough so you need to sometimes kick them out manually.

Other than that, the 3 lb 8 oz bag weight is ideal, and the 9" Woodlite top is sufficient.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the insight guys, I think I'll get a cart bag then. By chance, does anyone have one for sale? I see upper $100s low $200 for these, maybe an 08 or 09 for saleage? Thanks!

This is a great question... Great timing as well. I spent all last year in a cart so I had all of the luxuries of the big cart bag. I knew I was going to be able to walk some rounds this year so I didn't put any thought into my old walking bag. I completely forgot how I can't stand not having separators for each club. I hope we find a good solution to this.
What's in the bag...

Ok great. Thanks. One more question though, an Ogio Syncro or an Ogio Kingpin? Anybody like one more than other? Thanks

    • Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.
    • Day 228 4-4 More hip/chest turn and wrist arching. Working on hinging wrist a bit later. Foam balls.
    • Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.
    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
    • Day 550 - 2026-04-04 Practiced in the sim at a club for awhile. Did a SW ladder and practiced for awhile with my 7I.
