Does the golf channel really need to run a series of infomercials on a Saturday morning? I'm not talking 4 a.m., its 8:00 a.m. mdt and they're peddling the ninja blender. Seriously.

Its the weekend, there's time to get in a little TV watching before the kids get up and what's on? Ninja.

I'm not in media marketing so I don't know the going rate for an infomercial at this time slot, but I would believe GC could fetch a hefty price from regular ads to hit this demographic at a peak time.

You've gotta be *%&$*&% kidding me... I thought for sure at the top of the hour the infomercial chain would be over. Nope. 30 minutes of selling flexibility?

It sucks, but you have to realize one of two things... either they have no programming to fill the time, or they have to allow these types of ridiculous infomercials to pay the bills..Believe it or not infomercials pay ALOT of money , and the Golf channel has to pay the bills.

8am on a weekend is not a "peak time."

I'm sure if Golf Channel could (financially) show golf, they would.

I second this motion. Show some golf. Or something golf related. Or at least require the infomercials to have hotties demonstrating the product... geez.

No live golf on the 1st Saturday in April?? Infomercials, JD and Haney/Romano all day long?? Where is the LPGA's 1st major of the year?

Classic. I remember it being a big joke but I see golfsmith sells the bullwhip shaft and it has great reviews. I don't know why but I seem to remember the infomercial showing this club like 50" long.
