Donald Trump's World of Golf

So far I really like this show. What do you guys think? Replacing Shell's wonderful world of golf?

Saw the first one with Rice and LT... didn't much care for it, really prefer "Shell's Wonderful World of Golf"

Seems to be just a little too much Donald, and a little on the crass side for my tastes. Maybe it will pick up if they use PGA Tour professionals like in Shell.

Im sitting here scratching my head wondering how in the hell Lawrence Taylor bombs the ball so far (~165 with 9 iron) with that short extremely jerky swing.

I saw some commercials about a week ago and thought to myself that I'd never watch it. I see its on right now. I switched it on for 3 minutes. Two football guys with commentary from
"The Donald", who cares.

I gotta say I love it watching head to head golf with a lot of $ on the line for charity. For me its actually quite refreshing to see non-professionals play each other head to head. Definitely gives the audience something they can relate to.

I agree....we all have duffed a shot like LT did.

good show... the women on this show are ridiculous... that miss universe chick... geeze... reallly entertaining though... surprised lt was any good with that swing.. but i guess if you play golf everyday, you just plain get good

Yeah, I enjoyed it, Trump's a class act, and his courses are always in pristine condition, with very helpful staff, They will be playing Trump national in LA on the show, it's a links course just off the cliffs of the pacific, I try to play at least twice a month there, it's one of my all time favorite courses to play besides Pebble that's public, so I'll be tuning in for that

I liked the show except for one thing: too much of the Donald's face on the screen. They could have made better use of Blair O'Neal too. Basically: more Blair, less Donald. Thanks.

I saw pieces of it, not knowing what it was. It's a neat idea, but I can't imagine tuning in regularly.

Don't see why there's any negativity, it's a couple celebrities/sports figures, with decent games, playing match play. I didn't think Trump's commentary was over the top, all in all I thought it was a good show.

Eh, I found this entertaining for a little while, but I doubt I'll watch it weekly. I know it's a TV show and they have to make it over dramatic but I just don't think it's one of those shows that will capture my attention when it comes on. I'm sure there will be some interesting players on there every now and then, so maybe I'll give it a chance for a while. Just didn't find the first episode all that great though.

I just saw it a today and thought it was great and match play which helps speed everything along. I'll definitely be tuning in regularly..if you like "Big Break" don't see why this would be any different..and I actually think it's more entertaining. I thought that JR would whip the pants off of LT as he's planning on playing trying to turn pro..guessed wrong. LT is definitely a better grinder than JR.
