Hey all, so I visited our local golf shop today. They just so happened to be having a huge sale and Spring bash, so I figured I might have a good chance at getting a couple things. I didn't plan on finding a Scotty Cameron Squareback 2 with a good price. I had been looking at either the Fastback or Squareback and when I saw the Squareback 2 just sitting so lonely on the rack, I had to putt it. Wow, what a feel! I mustered up the cash and walked out with it. Now, when my wife gets back from Texas this weekend, I'm hoping she has the same feeling towards the putter that I do. Wish me luck..

Nice choice. I just got my first SC last weekend and I love it. They are pretty pricey (I paid full retail, sounds like you got a deal which is great) but really, considering my previous putter lasted me more than a decade I consider it money well spent for something that I know I'll enjoy using.

The reason I got such a good deal, was that it was being sold in the golfshop by one of the employees who had previously owned it. He ended up winning another Scotty in a tourney and had actually never played the Squareback 2 since buying it. He put a price ($190) on it, cash only, and since I've bought nearly my entire bag from this one guy, he took some more off the top for me. Probably the only reason I ended up getting it...

A few months back i picked up a Scotty Cameron Futura putter. It was amazing. alot better and feel from my old Ping Anser. Started to get better with my putting!

If she's anything like my wife, you better be prepared to drop a couple hundred on something she wants now.

My wife has been buying these bags & purses made of woven seat belts, which cost an average of $120 each. I have told her that I am going to buy a Scotty in June. She understands. I love my wife.

I putt with the Squareback #2 and love it! Love the feel, the confidence, the lines. I think I like how it looks at address so much it helps me putt better. But coming from an old PING B-60 from 1992, the transition was unbelievable. Technology rocks. At first it felt like I was putting with an anti-gravity putter... very weird.
