Impossible to tell without slope rating. You are 30 shots over par, so around 25 to 35 handicap. The handicap is not a calculation of your average, there is a formula used.

I would recommend getting a program like Scorecard, or register and put your rounds into a website like Oobgolf , which calculates your handicap.

Slope rating is the difficulty for us average joe's.

A average slope rating is 120-130 Course rating is what a scratch player would shoot. 68-70 for a par 71 course. If slope and course rating wasn't accounted for there'd be a problem. One guy plays off 11 on a tough course. (140) Another guy plays off 11 on a easy course (110) Who'd win in matchplay? the first guy because he plays on a harder course. That's why you need to have the course's slope rating to make your handicap. http://golf.about.com/od/handicaps/l...dicapincal.htm Use this to get yourself a rough idea of what your handicap. Download scorecard if you want a more accurate handicap.

Those guys hit it on the head - but in layman terms

If you play 5 rounds at your home course and score +28(100) every time you may have a 25 HC based on the course slope/rating(difficulty).

Now if you go shoot a 94 on an easier course 3 times or a 105 on a harder course it is possible that your hc won't change. The scorecard should have slope/rating that you can use for online tracking, and if done right, each set of tees should have its own numbers assuming they got rated, which they may not have been.

I like oobgolf too, its free, easy, and will show all kinds of reports if you put the data in to generate them.

Hi

Can you put your geographical location in your profile? I suspect some of this is not relevant to where you play. Your local governing body may have a website that explains all this.
