Since I took out my 3 and 4 iron and replaced them with a 21* and 24* Hybrids with a softer landing ..... I am thinking of adding a 3rd Hybrid 19* or a 3rd wedge 60*.

I had no trouble hitting the 3 or 4 iron, but there was almost no difference in length between them and the hybrids solved this...... they are great from the rough, great from the fairway and great from the tee at long Par 3's

A hybrid 19* might fill the gap between my 15,5* F2 909 3wood and the 21* hybrid ..... or might it just be like the 21* with a slightly lower ball flight and would a 17* hybrid be a better choice....

On the other hand a 60* wedge might be great for 30-50 yds. backspinning pitches....

Soooooo many choices ......

I'd get the hybrid. You can easily hit the 56º on any distance closer to the green.

I like my setup... My four close clubs are 10i (44*), PW (48*), GW (52*), and SW (58*). I might have a bit better luck keeping the loft gaps the same and going to 48/52/56/60, but that 58* has proven to be a surprisingly adaptable club -- Probably have more wear on it than anything else in the bag. The longer sticks hardly get any use with the courses I play.

Last two or three rounds I've played, I don't think I've pulled a hybrid out of the bag more than once or twice. Driver, wedge, then begins the nightmare that is my chipping and putting game. *heh*

Think about where you would hit more shots during a normal round. Are you consantly needing a club that will hit the distance between the 21 and 15? Or do you find yourself needing a club that will hit a high 30-50 yard shot? Personally, I need the club for the shorter shots more than I would need a club for longer shots, so I use an extra wedge. You can muscle up the 21 or ease off the 15 to fill in the gap. How much success do you have anyway with a shot that far? I might use a wedge 10-15 times a round, I use my hybrid/3-wood only a few total. Just something to think about.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I have the 52, 56 & 60 wedge set up and I am a strong believer in the short game. the scoring clubs are all within 80 yards and in. the last round you played what club would have benefited you more the 60 wedge or a long club or hybrid? 90% of the answer would be the short game and getting up and down to save par.

I LOVE my 60*. I have to say more for it's bounce than for the loft. For some reason I have found myself on some very tight lies of late. Yesterday I missed the green about 15 yards right (I know I know but it was windy LOL) Anyway I landed right on an area that had cart tracks to the point is was almost packed dirt. Pulled out the 60* made an aggressive move at the ball and popped it up and on green 10 feet or so. (I was happy just to get it on the green)

Another shot missed green right again on a par 3 uphill. Had a little side hill pitch to green. (maybe 20 yards or so) Well my ball rolled up against a tuff of grass (tuff as in clump, ball was sitting on a tight lie but there was this one probably 1 inch or so sprout of grass) right behind my ball. Again grabbed the low bounce 60* got a little more vertical and aggressive and was happy to hit the green again this time about 12 feet.

Hard packed waste buncker last week from 30 yards or so hit it inside 10 feet. (spun like crazy)

I also use it for full shots to 85 yards. (no wind) And pitch shots inside of that to red pins.
